Funeral services for Eva Mae Richmond Hayden will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in the Northside Baptist Church of Oakdale with Elders David O'Neal and Jerry Dodson officiating. Committal services will follow in the Cryer Cemetery of Oakdale under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Hayden, 86, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 3, 2013 in the Allen Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on April 6, 1926 in Oakdale to Eli Richmond and Beulah Jordan Richmond. She was a charter member of the Northside Baptist Church and a homemaker. She also was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Beulah Richmond; husband, Preston Hayden; two daughters, Linda Granger and Sharon Hayden; and one brother, Ralph Richmond.
She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, three sons, Elder Larry W. Wilson and wife Pauline of Oakdale, Kennth Hayden and wife Jackie of Oakdale, and Kevin Hayden also of Oakdale; two brothers, Charles Richmond and James Harold Richmond both of Oakdale; six sisters, Audrey Holcomb of Vivian, Shirley McCullough of Grant, Marguerite Lloyd of Shreveport, Martha Hinson of Oakdale, Norma Sue Jeansonne of Glenmora, and Lana Faye Paul of Beaver; twelve grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers to serve will be Tim Granger, Derrrick Granger, Darrin Wilson, Terrence Wilson, Shaun Hayden, and Michael Hayden.
Friends may call today from 10 am till 10 pm and on Tuesday from 8 am until time of service in the church.
