Born June 2, 1839 the son of Benjamin and Catherine Leibert Whitsell passed away December 25,1894, in Nazareth, Northampton, Pa. After the death of his father who lost his life in a Railroad accident in 1841, he lived in the family of Andrew and Elizabeth Clewell Whitesell in Nazareth. He was confirmed in the church at Dryland. On January 26,1867 he married Emmaline Hahn. They lived in Washington D.C. For seven years then moved to Schoeneck, Pa.
