Lena Bell Baber, 77, of Spotsylvania County, formerly of Manassas, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Baber was preceded in death by her husband, Herman C. Baber; a son, Herbert Daniel Baber; and a grandson, Brian Wells Baber.
Survivors include her children, Herman A. Baber and wife, Katherine of Luray, Helena E. Baber of Spotsylvania, and Reede Hapner and husband Douglas of Stafford; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, James Jewell of Alexandria and Willie Jewell of Spotsylvania.
A funeral will be held at noon on Saturday, March 12, 2011at Woodbine Baptist Church in Manassas with the Rev. Gene Wells officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandson.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
