He was awarded the Marine Corps. Good Conduct medal, the World War II Victory medal, the American Defense Service medal with "Base" claps, the American Theater Campaign medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, the World War II Honorable Service Lapel Button, the Expert Rifleman Badge, and the Expert Pistol "D" badge.
