Mills Thomas Barrett, 69, prominent farmer of Isle of Wight County, died Wednesday, January 16th at his home near Windsor after an illness of several months.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Eliza Bryant Barrett; three daughters, Mrs. B.M. Cobb, Mrs. Edward Tomlin and Mrs. W.A. Cobb of Zuni; six sons, Joseph Alexander, W.S., J. Pressley, Edgar Kent, and Emmett Galvin Barrett of Zuni, and M.P. Barrett of Smithfield, two brothers R.H. Barrett of Zuni and J.W. Barrett of Norfolk; 24 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Antioch Christian Church Thursday at 1 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. C.E. Gerringer, assisted by the Rev. J. Sidney Cobb and the Rev. W.H. Buhler.
Burial was in the church cemetery.

He married 2nd Eliza Jane BRYANT (1878-1953) on 26 Dec 1905.
