Earl Conner, 90, 224 E. 38th St., Marion, died at 5:40 pm. Tuesday in the Marion General Hospital, where he was admitted earlier in the day. Mr. Conner was a native of Hackleman. He was retired from the Marion VA Medical Center, where he was a carpenter.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Conner, Fairmount, and Chalmer Conner and Willard Conner, both of Winter Garden, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Lorene) Thomas, Marion; nine granchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 am. Friday in the Shawley Memorial Chapel, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, with the Rev. Jay Haskell Woodbridge in charge.
Burial will be in the Grant Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 pm. today at the funeral home.
