"Former Local Man Called; Robert A. Hoskinson Dies at His Home in Milford, Ohio"

Robert Adams Hoskinson, of Milford, Ohio, a former resident of Mount Carmel, died at his home in that city on Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock. He was a native of New Harmony, Ind., where he was born on March 29, 1898, a son of Thomas G. and Lura D. (Adams) Hoskinson. At death he was aged 44 years, 11 months, and 7 days. He was married to Genevieve Barre at Olney, Ill., on March 28, 1925. She survives him, together with one daughter, Lura Dean Hoskinson, at home and one brother, Estel Hoskinson, of Mount Carmel.

Mr. Hoskinson worked for the New York Central Railroad for 26 years. He left Mount Carmel eight years ago, residing at Robinson and Mattoon before going to Milford. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Mattoon and of the Robinson A.F. & A.M. Lodge.

Mr. Hoskinson was taken to the Roy D. Short Company Funeral Home where services will be held at the Memorial Chapel on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock , and burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery.
