"Toots" was born to Richard Lee Lewis and Eunice Mae Padrick Lewis in Goldsboro, NC. She was married to Edward Lewis Ryan, (who passed December 24, 2005). She was the mother of Edward L. Ryan, Jr., and William Earl Ryan. She was preceded in death by a son Clyde Cecil Ryan and a daughter, Janie Elizabeth Ryan and grandson William Earl Ryan, Jr. She is survived by brother Ralph Donald Lewis of NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Eunice, Christiana (Foy), Rosa Lee (Moffitt), Mattie Susan, Katherine Mae, and brothers Bryan Clifton Sr., Whitley, and Richard Kermit. She was followed in death by her brother Zealy M. Lewis, Sr., and spouse Eddie. She passed away from complications of pancreatic cancer and is loved and deeply missed.
