Zelma Rogers Dyer
widow of Dorsey Dyer, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013. She was a 104 year old native of Powell County, daughter of the late Cain Dudley and America Elizabeth Baker Rogers, a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, and Jeffersonville Senior Citizens. She is survived by 3 sons, Darvin Dyer of Mt. Sterling, Gerald (Jane) Dyer of Marietta, South Carolina, C.D. (Lori) Dyer of Jeffersonville, 2 daughters, Carol Peach and Anetta Martin, both of Lexington, 2 brothers, Irvil Rogers of New Smyrna, Florida and Delmar (Maxine) Rogers of Lexington, 1 sister, Mable (Kelvin) Keath of Mt. Ster-ling, 19 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 2 stepgreat-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, and long time friend and neighbor, Pam Conkright and brother, Jeff. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Beulah, Lavenia, Gertie, Treva and Ida, a grandson, Dale Dyer, daughter-in-law, Betty Vice Dyer, and 2 sons-in-law, Tom Martin and Bill Peach. Her funeral will be 1:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Miller Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8:00 Friday
