Mr DeSotel was the beloved son of Gilbert Desotel who was born August 17, 1901 and died April 1967 in Clayton, Iowa who was a laborer at a rock quarry and Helen Desotel who was born in 1900 in Clayton, Iowa. His siblings were Frances born in 1924; Robert born in 1925; Laurence born in 1926; Arthur born December 7, 1926 and died May 27, 1999; and Merrill born in 1929. Mr. DeSotel lived in Hampstead, NC most of his life. He ran a very successful small engine business on Factory Road for many years. He is survived by his daugther Theresa Marie DeSotel and Anita Marie DeSotel, and granddaughter Emily Ann DeSotel and grandson. Mr DeSotel was admired, loved and is deeply missed.
