90-Year Veteran Of Draper Passes Away O Friday
Funeral services for Wade W. Akers, 90-year-old Confederate veteran, who died at his home near Draper Friday morning, were conducted from the home Saturday morning by the Rev. D. R. Freeman.
Burial was in the Draper cemetery.
Mr. Akers was a native of Floyd county.
His wife, Sallie Duncan Akers, died about five years ago.
He is survived by several children and a large number of other relatives.
