(March 30, 1946 - February 8, 2013)

Kelly Neil Campbell, age 66, of Artemus, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at his home.
He was a son of the late Squire Bill and Eula Grubb Campbell, born to them on March 30, 1946 at Artemus.

Kelly was a retired construction worker, a member of the Artemus First Baptist Church, the Mountain Masonic Lodge, and he served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

On December 13, 1968, he united in marriage to Brenda Jackson, and to this union a daughter: Krista, and a son: Ryan were born.

Kelly was preceded in death by his father and mother: Squire Bill and Eula Grubb Campbell,
and by one nephew: Jeff Campbell.

Kelly is survived by his loving family: His wife of over 44 years: Brenda Jackson Campbell of Artemus.
His daughter: Krista Campbell Hamm and husband, Tim of Owingsville, Kentucky.
His son: Ryan K. Campbell and wife, Rachel of London.
His 4 special grandchildren: Chase Hamm, Caitlyn Hamm, Jackson Campbell and Colton Campbell.
His sister: Joyce Campbell Buchanan and husband, Lloyd of Barbourville.
His brother: Kenneth Campbell and wife, Becky of Barbourville.
His uncle: Leslie Campbell of Barbourville.
His 2 aunts: Nora Campbell of Artemus, and Majel Gray of Artemus; and by his nieces and nephews, his loving cousins, and many other family members, and loving friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services for Kelly Neil Campbell will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 11, 2013 in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Barnard and Rev. Josh Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Kevin Buchanan, Courtney Campbell, Brad Coers, Bill Hamilton, Charles Never and Dave Woosley. Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be: The Tri-County Hospice Nurses.

Hopper Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

The Campbell family will receive friends after 6:00 P.M. on Sunday at the Hopper Funeral Home, and after 9:00 A.M. on Monday until the funeral hour

he suffered 30 years with rhematorid arthritis, trying to find any method of pain relief; and in Dec 2012 the secondary diagnosis of felty syndrome set in compromising his immune system further making his life too challenging to win the battle.
