Troy, Mo. - Funeral services for Deslie William Barley, 64, retired farmer of Troy, will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the McCoy Funeral Home. The Rev. Ted Matkin will officiate and interment will be in St. John's Cemetery in St. Charles.
Mr. Barley was born December 21, 1905, a son of William O. and Dazerene Elmore Barley. He is survived by his wife Irma Merx Barley; four son, Gary of Berkley, Donald of St. Peters, David of New hartford and John of O'Fallon; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Earnest of Moberly and Mrs. Lula Edwards of Corpus Chisti, Texas and one brother, Glen Barley of Troy. Mr. Barley passed away Saturday at the Lincoln County Memorial Hospital in Troy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Clint, Ocie, Gary and Clyde Barley, and four sisters Mrs. Robert Creech, Mrs. Bernice Fisher, Mrs. Cliffy Nichols and Mrs Reba Bullock.
