WEST DECATUR - Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, for Ida J. Lumadue, 86, of Spring Valley, who died Thursday, April 21, 2005, at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
The Rev. Steven R. Millinder will officiate. Interment will be at Stoneville Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.
Born Nov. 12, 1918, at West Decatur RD, she was a daughter of Thomas and Alma L. (Shugarts) Wilsoncroft.
She attended the Lighthouse Evangelical Church.
Mrs. Lumadue was a homemaker. She had worked at DuPont Airplane Marine and as a housekeeper for the former Royal Nine Motel at Clearfield for nearly 20 years.
She wed Elmer "Toot" Lumadue Jr. on Sept. 18,1936, at Cumberland, Md. He died July 14, 1979.
She is survived by three children, Phyllis Parks and her husband, Rexall, Thomas R. Lumadue and his wife, Karen, and Judy Wisor and her husband, Delbert, all of West Decatur; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Dwayne and Karen Parks, Andrea and Mark Moody, Lisa and Scott Graham, Eric and Melissa Lumadue, Thomas Jr. and Mandy Lumadue, Nicholas and Brenda Wisor, Trena and Randy Swatsworth and Shannon and Ruth Wisor; 16 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lumadue was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carroll J. Lumadue; four brothers; and four sisters.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Clearfield Foundation for Health Hospice, P.O. Box 992, Clearfield, PA 16830.
