THE SPRINGFIELD SUN. Mrs. Hill Dies Of Heart Attack, Funeral Monday. Mrs. Mary Bertha Badgett Hill, 75, wife of Leo Hill, Washington County farmer, died at 1:05 a.m., Friday, May 5, 1967, at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Lebanon, where she was admitted two hours earlier for treatment after suffering a heart attack at the family home near St. Rose.

Besides her husband, she is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Richard Nally and Mrs. Leroy Thompson, Loretto; Mrs. Jim Kneipp, Huntington, WS. Va.; Mrs. Pat Blandford, Mrs. Reco Bishop and Mrs. John Osbourne, all of this county; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Mattingly and Mrs. Marey O'Bryan, this county, a half-sister, Mrs. Spencer Hamilton, Marion County, Kentucky and one brother, Walter Badgett, this county. A daughter Birdie Lee preceded her in death in 1933.

She also leaves 26 grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hill rested in then Hale and Polin Funeral Parlor here until time for final rites, being viewed there by many friends.

The funeral Mass was said at 10 a.m. Monday, May 8, at St. Rose Catholic Church, interment following in the church cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers were six nephews.

Six grandsons, C. L. and Dickie Nally, Donnie and David Thompson, Patrick and Kenny Blandford, serve3d as casket bearers.
