Charlie was the eldest child born to James A. Hollingshead and Georgia Anna (BANKER) Lamb. He was married 18 March, 1909 in Coldwater, Branch Co., MI to May B. "Isabelle" HYDE but this union quickly ended in divorce. He then married 2. Minnie Hannah WALLING on 8 February, 1911 in Branch Co., MI. The couple had one son: Lynn Roy Hollingshead, born 27 January, 1912 at Sherwood, Branch Co., MI. Grandpa died of pneumonia secondary to chronic leukemia. He was the kindest, most gentle man, an incredible farmer and absolutely the best grandpa in the world!
