Michael A. Haupt, 55, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday, February 07, 2013 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Mike was born September 28, 1957 in Manitowoc to the late Arlie and Marlene (Konik) Haupt. He graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1975. On September 9, 1978, he married the former Debra Brunette and they resided in Sheboygan. He was employed by the Kohler Company in the Cast Iron Division for over thirty years. Mike was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs. He also enjoyed hunting and watching the wildlife in northern Wisconsin.

In addition to his wife, Debra, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Aaron Fretwell) Haupt-Fretwell, Jodi Haupt (special friend, Jeff Aufderheide); one grandson, Cayden Michael Fretwell; 3 step-grandchildren, Alex, Lexi and Miranda Fretwell. He is further survived by two brothers, Tom Haupt and Randy (Heather) Haupt; three sisters, Charmaine (Greg) Patz, Patricia (John) Schneider and Judy Henderson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Theodore and RaeAnn Brunette; five brothers-in-law, Mike (Rhonda), Ted (Susan), David (Shelley), Tim (Angie) and Tom (Chris) Brunette. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, David and one nephew, Major Schneider.
