Frank H. Hepler
Frank H. Hepler, 67, of 607 McKnight St., Gordon, collapsed and died of a heart attack on Thursday at 11 am while at the Brocious Gas Station at Gordon.
An ambulance was summoned, but death had occurred before he could be removed to a hospital.
Coroner Otto Miller of Ashland released the body to Kull Funeral Home, Ashland.
Born at Locustdale on June 5, 1896, Mr. Hepler had resided in Gordon for six years. His parents were the late Edwin and Mary (Hepler) Hepler.
He was last employed as a fireman at Potts Colliery. His wife Roedith died in 1957.
Surviving are these children: Franklin Paul of Gordon, with whom he lived; Mrs. Albert Meyer, of Ashland; two step-children; Mrs. Charles Beaulieu, of Newtown Square and William C. Williams, of Renton, Washington; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Miss Eva Hepler, of Locustdale.
Funeral Sunday afternoon from Kull Funeral Home at Ashland. Interment in Christ Church Cemetery at Fountain Springs. The Rev. John A. Swavely will officiate at services.
