The funeral service for William Thomas Kinkade will Sunday at Memory Gardens Mortuary Chapel in Medford. Pastor Don Farnsworth of Southwest Church of the Nazarenein Medford will officiate.

Mr. Kinkade, 83, of Medford, died Thursday (Dec. 6, 2001) at his home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Providence Community Health Foundation, Hospice, 1111 Crater Lake Ave., Medford, OR 97504.

He was born Feb. 12, 1918, in St. Louis. On Aug. 17, 1983, he married Dorothy L. Prorok, who survives.

Mr. Kinkade worked for McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, Calif., for many years, retiring in 1973. He moved to the Rogue Valley last year from Sacramento.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Mr. Kinkade was a member of the American Legion in Sacramento for many years.

He enjoyed traveling, and spending time with his family and his Chihuahuas.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, W.T., Monte Sereno, Calif., and Patrick, Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Katey Johnson, Vallejo, Calif.; a stepson, Ed Prorok, Lakeside, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Claudia Pereira, Ruth, and Julie Mahoney, Cave Junction; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements: Memory Gardens Mortuary, Medford.
