"JACK HUBBS OBITUARY"
"HUBBS, Jack (Age 73) Was born in Flint, Michigan on December 9,1936 to Harold and Myrtle Hubbs. He was the middle sibling out of 10 children. He was preceded in death by his mother and dad and a brother and sister. Jack started working in a meat shop when he was 12. After graduating from high school he carried on with the same meat profession for many years, then migrated to the Pacific Northwest working in the meat industry for places like YJ Packing in Coeur d'Alene then to Hathaway Meats in 1969. He worked for Hygrade Packing and Bonanza Packing, but he started to go to school. In 1970 he started in Community College with HVAC work. He started his new profession but kept his day job for a while. He finally quit the meat packing so he could work full time at his business, Jack's Refrigeration Service. He says it was a pleasure working for all his clients and most turned into good friends rather than just customers. He continued his business until September 16th, 2010 when he turned it over to his grandson Zach. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 20th, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home."
