Frederick C. Meyer, 77, Loganville died Friday in a Reedsburg hospital after a long illness. He was a Loganville village president from 1957 to 1965. A retired farmer, he was a lifelong area resident. After he left the farm in 1951, he worked for 3 years for the Kraemer Construction Co. He was a member of St. Peters of Loganville. He and his wife, the former Laura Frommung celebrated their 52nd anniversary last September.

Survivors besides his wife include a daughter, Mrs. Harold Werth; a son, Vernon, Janesville; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Edward of North Freedom and Arnold of Madison.

Funeral services were held in St. Peter's of Loganville with burial in the church cemetery.
