He was at one time in the grocery business on Woodland St. with his father, and later became a bookkeeper for several milk concerns for 30 years. He retired in 1949. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers.
In 1937 he was honored at a Worcester Safety Council dinner for having driven 19 years for Smith & Fyfe Inc. without an accident. He was working as a collector for the company. He formerly lived at 727 Chandler St.
He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Meda (Morrison) Creamer; two daughters, Beverly, wife of Earl L. Anderson of Worcester, and Betty, wife of Albert R. Lamb of Auburn; a sister, Mrs Walter S. Cook of Worcester; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
