Berthelot, Aaron Joseph "Bird" A truck driver for Belmont Lumber Co. and a resident of Gramercy, he died at noon Wednesday, May 4, 2005, in Vacherie.

He was 21 and a native of Lutcher.

Visiting at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, Lutcher, on Friday, May 6, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday, May 7, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Frank Uter. Entombment in St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.

He is survived by his parents, Kenneth "Pedro" and Delores Leonard "Dee" Berthelot; paternal grandmother, Rose M. Berthelot; maternal grandmother, Genevieve T. Leonard; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Alan and Danielle Berthelot, Jason and Tara Berthelot, and Ryan Berthelot and fiancée Becky Morgan, all of Gramercy; two nephews, Colin and Austin; a niece, Megan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dalton Berthelot; and maternal grandfather, Norman Leonard.

He was a member of the Gramercy Volunteer Fire Department, a student at the ABC School in Baton Rouge and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
