Ginger was a happy, loving, outgoing and funny person. She was born the fifth child with two older brothers, two older sisters, one younger half-brother, and three younger half-sisters. Her father died when she was just an infant so she never really knew him. After her father died she and her siblings were watched over by their grand-mother, Honor Mongan, and her great-aunt, Sara Mongan while their mother worked. Their mother remarried a couple years later, then divorce when Ginger was about 12 years old. Shortly after her mother and step-father divorced, her older siblings began to move out of the house. It was then left up to her to raise her younger half-sisters and brothers while her mother worked to support the family.

Ginger graduated from the University of California in Santa Barbara with a BA in Performing Arts. During her career she often performed impersonations of some of the great actresses of the 20th century. Most notable are Mae West, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvira. She often rode in Santa Barbara's "Fiesta" parade as May West with her then husband Neal Graffy as Groucho Marx. She was integral in the creation of the "Costume Party for the Creatively Assured" which ran annually for many years in Santa Barbara.

Ginger first married Santa Barbara's notable historian Neal Graffy in Santa Barbara in the early 1980s. After their divorce she moved to Lake Arrowhead, CA and married and divorced Steve ??. It is very sad that she never had any children; she would have made a wonderful mother. I know because, as my big sister, she mostly raised me.

ღ Ginger is now buried along side her daddy.
