James Banton Castor was known by most of my relatives as "Uncle Jim". He was a tall, kind hearted, quiet man; the second husband of my "Little Granny", Lela Minnie Poe Dixson. He died when I was only 9 so I don't have too many memories of him, except that I liked him, my Granny loved him and he was good to her.
