Annabelle Virginia Latendresse Krieg was born on 4 September 1920 in Hugo, Minnesota to Frank and Frances (Kellogg) Latendresse. She studied dietary science and earned her BS at College of Saint Teresa in Winona, Minnesota. She worked at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois as a dietitian, and at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. For three decades, and until 2011, she owned and operated Krieg Brothers Catholic Supply House in downtown Indianapolis. Anne appreciated the fine arts and often attended plays, ballets, and the symphony. She was a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Anne was also a member of the Council of Catholic Women, the Legion of Mary, and was a former Girl Scout leader. She married Louis W. Krieg Jr. on 30 November 1944, at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Anne and Louis had a son, Gregory, and daughter, Louanne. Louis passed away in August of 1982. Anne passed on 11 February 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis at the age of 92.
