Henry Logan Kruger, age 92, of Bandera, passed away on February 7, 2013 in Kerrville. He was born on May 2, 1920 in Stephensport, Kentucky to Robert and Edith Tomer Kruger. Mr. Kruger joined the Air Force during World War II, where he was stationed in the South Pacific, and served as an airplane mechanic. After the War he went to Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii, where he was stationed for 20 years. He then became an Air Force Investigator until his retirement in 1969.

On May 20, 1988 he married Nettie Mae "Penny" Leik in Pipe Creek, Texas. they spent several years traveling aroung the country in their RV.

Henry is survived by his wife of 24 years, his children, Freda Campbell and Betty Jean Camancho of Navarre, Florida; Glenell Brewer of Cibolo; Dennis Ferguson of San Antonio; Betty Gilmore and husband Kenneth of Cut Bank, Montana; Scott Ferguson of Wesley Chapel, Florida; Brenda Horan of Hondo; and Terry Ferguson of San Antonio; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Henry is preceded in death by his parents, his brother and two sisters.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 10, 2013 with full military honors. Arrangements were entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapel of Bandera.
