Irene Stout, 88, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at Hospice House in Hutchinson.
She was born June 11, 1916, to David L. and Bertha A. Anderson Baird in Preston.
She married Harold Forbes Feb. 14, 1934, in Liberal.
She then married F.V. Stout Jan. 4, 1953, in Clayton, N.M. He died June 8, 1979.
She was a retired LPN, working at Southwest Medical Center.
Survivors include one son, Bob Forbes, Bridge City, Texas; one daughter, Ann Kilgore, Hutchinson; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pauline Martin, Kansas City, Mo., and Goldie Hutchins, Water Valley, Ky.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters and two grandsons.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m., Friday at Liberal Cemetery.
