Kaine Vernon Cordts was born on January 17, 2007 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Clair and Ezra (Estep) Cordts. To know Kaine, was to love him. He had a great ease about him, always able to go with the flow even when things got rough. He could be so tough and yet sweet as can be with his cute little smile and camo clothes.
Whether it was riding his bike, John Deere Gator, the four-wheeler or helping Dad, Kaine loved to be outdoors. He was especially fond of animals and the life of living on a dairy farm, even though his family lived in town. However just milk cows, Kaine did have a few of his own pets like his dog, Bear, his fish, Blue and his Guinea Pig, G-Force. He also liked to listen to music and enjoyed going to school, when he was able.
In June of 2012, Kaine was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. He spent much of the summer taking treatments in Rochester, MN, and had been spending most of his time at home with his family. When Kaine was no longer able to run around, he began drawing, coloring and playing his Nintendo DS. He was quite the perfectionist as an artist.
Kaine will be missed greatly by all who were lucky enough to know him.
