Married Sarah Catherine Walker on April 8, 1873 in St. Francois County, Missouri. After James' death, she married a "Duncan" and moved to Montgomery County, Kansas. The last I find her is in the Kansas State Census in 1925 in Coffeyville, Montgomery County, Kansas [age 70, widowed]. Her daughter, Jessie J. Hood [age 29] is living with her.
