Georg Simon Presler was born abt 1699 in Niederhochstadt, Sudliche Weinstrasse, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. He was the son of Johannes Valentin Presler (1669-1742) and Anna Christina Franz Presler.

Georg married Eva Magdalena Schauermann (1702-) in Germany in 1725. Eva was the daughter of Balthasar Schauermann (1665-1706) and Anna Magdalena Lang (1671-1709).
