MRS. MARTHA J. CHERRY DIED TUESDAY AFTER EIGHT YEARS ILLNESS
Mrs. Martha Jane Cherry, aged 69 years, wife of David Cherry, died Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her home, 101 Race street, after an illness of over eight years, caused by a complication of disease.
Mrs. Cherry was born in Deerfield but the last 33 years of her life was spent in this city. She was a member of the Free Methodist church of this city. Besides her husband she is survived by nine children, Mrs. J. H. Butler of Tipton, Mrs.David Jermeay of Adrian, Mrs. Fred Poll of Dundee, Charles and John Cherry, Mrs Edward Poll, Frank and Albert McDonald and Teddy Cherry, an adopted son, all of Adrian, 23 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The funeral services are to be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Everiss undertaking rooms with the burial to be made in Oakwood cemetery.
