Surviving Roland is his wife: Dorothy Backhurst of Pemberville, OH; son: Bruce (Rita) Backhurst of North Canton, OH; daughter in law: Margaret Backhurst of Corpis Christi, TX; step daughter: Carol (Richard) Stout of Perrysburg, OH; step son: Wayne "Michael" (Norma Jo) Bruning of Perrysburg, OH; step son in law: Cecil Haas of California; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 14 step great grandchildren; 2 step great great grandchildren.
