Mrs. Sue L. Cumming Corprew, aged 67, wife of Burruss Corprew, and daughter of the late William A. and Kate Northrop Cumming, died at the residence, Avenue C, Virginia Beach, yesterday afternoon at 6:45 o’clock. Mrs. Corprew was a native of Wilmington, N.C., a former well-known resident of Norfolk, and for the past seven years a resident of Virginia Beach. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. E.M. Hardy, Mrs. W.R. Ashburn and Miss Agnes Corprew, and three grandchildren, W.R. Ashburn, Jr., and Susan and Virginia Ashburn, all of Virginia Beach. Funeral services will be held at the residence Thursday morning at 11 o’clock, with the Rev. Joseph B. Clower, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach, of which Mrs. Corprew was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sue L. Cumming Corprew, wife of Burruss Corprew, whose death occurred Monday afternoon, where held at the residence, Avenue C, Virginia Beach, Va., today at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Joseph B. Clower, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach, officiating. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a floral cross of white roses, violets and ferns. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. The pall-bearers were James M. Jordan, Jr., David Shelburne, Dr. Floyd Dormire, Robert L. Nutt, Jr., Vivian B. Hodgson, Eugene L. Burruss, R.H. Marshall and H. Stevens Haines.
