Adele A Kamel of Merrimack, NH, died March 13, 2012, at the Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare in Nashua, NH. She was born in Stoughton, MA on March 29, 1917 but grew up on a farm in Newbury, NH, a place of her fondest memories.

Adele and her husband Nick raised their family in Claremont, NH.

Adele was a very creative person. Oil painting and writing were her greatest loves.

She worked on the Claremont Daily Eagle, spent summers doing recreation work for the playgrounds. She was a Girl Scout leader for ten years and a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Zekos and Kay Anderson of Nashua, NH; a son, Robert Kamel of Peterborough, NH, and a sister, Jane McGonagle; six grandchildren include Erika Zekos Noble, Amy Dolan, Melissa Higgins, Richard Cole, Jennifer Kamel and Christopher Kamel; great grandchildren include Zofia and Oliver Noble and David and Seth Higgins.

She is predeceased by her parents Leon and Sofia (Szymkiewicz) Rogalski, her husband Nathan, and a sister Jeanette Rawn and brother Walter Rogalski.

Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery.
