Hill Green was born in Stony Fork, Deep Gap NC. a son of William & Nancy (Carlton) Greene. Hill Green worked with his teams of horses in North Carolina and Ohio and could make harness and other things out of leather. He moved his family to Ohio in 1921. He traveled by train back and forth from NC to OH where he stayed with his parents in NC or his brother Harvey Greene in OH.
WIFE: Lunda Greene (cousins married). She died in 1922 of Pneumonia after moving to Ohio in 1921.

Hill married Maude Watson around 1930. They lived with the children in Stony Fork, NC while Hill worked on a sawmill owned by his nephew Jerome Greene. They moved back to Ohio where Hill died in 1963, Maude returned to NC.
