Glen H. Rutledge 72 of rural Farmington died at 4:13 a.m. Thursday in Graham Hospital, Canton, Illinois. He was born Jan 7, 1912 in Fulton County, the son of Curry and Blanch (Tillman) Rutledge. He married Helen on June 21, 1942 in Canton. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Jacobs, Peoria, one son, Samuel Rutledge, Farmington, one brother, Hebert Rutledge, Greenville, MO, one sister, Mrs. Melba J. Ashwood, Canton, IL and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in Death by four brothers. He was a laborer at Keystone Steel and Wire Company until retiring. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Anderson Funeral Home, Farmington, IL with the Rev. Donald Andrews officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm, Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
