Norman Baker was a son of Albert V. Baker and Lydia (Schupp) Baker. He was a Sgt. in the US Marine Corp. WW2 serving in the South Pacific with his brother Eugene. He married Beverly Swalley in 1947 and they had children; Cathy and Shelly Baker. Norman and his brother Bob were plumbers at the Bown's Plumbing Company in Coshocton until they started Baker Brother's Plumbing & Heating in Newcomerstown, Ohio. Later he worked at the Gen-Tec Company in Newcomerstown, OH until he retired.
