Lonnie H. Williams was born October 12, 1928 in Mullins, SC to Alta Jane (Suggs) and Alva Williams. He passed away on December 8, 2010 in Ocala, FL. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1947 and served his country for 20 years, retiring as a Staff Sergeant in 1967. He then spent another twenty years as a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pauline Williams, in 2007.

Lonnie leaves to cherish his memory his five children: Walter S. Williams of Orlando; Tommy A. Williams and his wife Carol of Ocala; Lonnie W. Williams of Atlanta, GA; Robert Williams of Tennessee; and Deborah Strong and her husband James of Appleton, WI; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and siblings Ruby Santin of Fort Myers, FL; Donnie Williams of Lake Placid, FL; Margart Williams of Mullins, SC; Lieta Miller of Immokalee, FL; Paul Williams of Immokalee, FL; and Retha Day of Flanlin, NC.
