LISBON - Lois A. Humphrey, 78 of Lisbon, Ohio died at home on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 following a lengthy illness. She was born in Calcutta on May 18, 1934 and was a daughter of the late Neil and Ann (Hoppel) McCall.
She was a cook at various local restaurants and nursing homes and was a member of the Beaver Street Church of Christ in Lisbon.
Mrs. Humphrey is survived by her husband, William J. Humphrey; children: Timothy W. Humphrey, Kimberly A. Sprouse and Lynn M. Humphrey all of Lisbon; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, with Aaron Burch and Herman McHan of the church officiating.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013.
