ALLEN
Betty Huddleston, She left us so peacefully on March 1, 2005. She was born on November 7, 1919, in Wylie,Texas, to C.C. Huddleston and Tommie Driggers Huddleston. She suffered many losses in her life, managed to smile and keep her sense of humor through it all. She resided the last two years at Senior Care at Laked Point where she was treated with respect and kindness and her family is grateful. She was preceded in death in 1957 by her beloved husband, Charles Francis Allen, but he was always in her heart. She lost her infant daughter, Susan, soon after her husband's death. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Allen Rogers and Diane Allen Ramsey, son-in-law, Stephen H. Ramsey, two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends for visitation at the Grove Hill Funeral Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2:p.m. at Grove Hill Cemetery. If you have room in your house and heart, adopt an animal in her memory - She had 3 precious pets of her own.
