"Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Ivy Brien, age 70, will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, February 22, 2007 in the Chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lesters Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Brien, a homemaker, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the home of her daughter in Bartlett, Tennessee. She was born in Pinson, Tennessee, daughter of the late Thomas P. Ivy and Viola Vernez Taylor Ivy, who survives.

Mrs. Brien was a member of Dellwood Baptist Church in Memphis where she lived for several years and in recent years attended Lesters Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel David Brien on February 27, 2005 to whom she was married in 1955; a daughter, Rose Marie Brien Larkins and a son, John David Brien. ...
