McCAIN-Mary Ann (Bolta) McCain, 85, loving wife, mother, gr andmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully of natural causes at Presbyterian Hospice House in Whittier, CA, on June 1st, 2008. She was born March 7, 1923, in Havre, Montana, where she graduated from Havre High School; and later worked as a riveter building B-52 bombers in Seattle, WA, during WWII where she met Lawrence McCain. They were married in Ventura, CA, in March, 1946, and lived in Whittier since 1956. They celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on March 30th, 2006. She worked for th e school cafeteria system, but most importantly as a homemaker to her family. She is survived by her daughter Pam Reithmeier, and son Larry McCain, Jr, sisters Ann McClain, Keva Symes, Elena Clontz, brother George Bolta, 5 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence and her son Michael. There will be a viewing and Rosary at White-Emerson Mortuary, 13304 Philadelphia St. in Whittier, Thursday, June 5th. The viewing begins at 6:00 P.M. followed by Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 6th at St. Bruno's Catholic Church, Whittier, at 9:00 A.M., with interment following at Olive Lawn Memorial Park in La Mirada.
