∼Henry E. Sisson died at his home in Luray, Wednesday, January 16, 1901, of lung trouble, from which he had suffered many years, and complications of La Grippe. The funeral occurred January 17 from the M.E. Church, services being conducted by Rev. Smith. The burial, which was in the Conkle cemetery, was under the auspices of the local lodge of the Odd Fellows, of which order deceased had been a member. Mr.Sisson had been born April 1, 1833 in Switzerland county, Indiana. He served during the Civil war in the 146th Indiana regiment. 1n 1869 he moved to Clark county, Missouri, where he had resided continuously ever since. A wife, two sons, one daughter and many other relatives and friends are left to mourn his departure.
