He has been a resident of Leavenworth since the early 50s and is another of the pioneers who helped to build the city, called to his final rest.
The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon from the residence at 1:30 o'clock, and at 2 from St. Joseph's cathedral on Broadway.
He leaves a wife, a good many years his junior, and five children; four daughters, and one son. They are; Mrs. Otto Sauer of Denver, Col, Mrs. E. Murphy of this city, the Misses Clara and Helen, and John P. Huesgen, Jr.. the proprietor of the drug house, corner Fifth and Miami street.
Mr. Huesgen was born in Neuss, Germany.
