He was born in Neva, Tenn., and moved to Colorado and Albany before settling in Lebanon. He was a millwright at Crown Zellerbach and operated a cabinet shop in Pasadena, Calif., until 1984, when he returned to Lebanon.
He enjoyed woodworking and building.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and by his wife, Mary, whom he married in 1927.
Survivors include his son, Dale of Lebanon; daughter, Mary Standing of New Jersey; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Huston-Jost Funeral Home in Lebanon. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
