"La Petite Rose" or the Little Rose was a Catholic mystic and stigmatist who lived, bed ridden, in Woonsocket Rhode Island for most of her life. She was born near Quebec Canada and her family moved to Rhode Island when she was young. Stricken with what is thought to be rheumatoid arthritis at an early age, she dedicated her life and her suffering to service of her Jesus. Concidered a "Victim Soul" of Jesus, she took on bodily suffering to reparate the sins of others and healing of those in need. Around the age of 26 she began to show signs of Stigmata or "the wounds of Christ". Devoutees flocked to her home, sometimes by busloads, to pray with her for their healing and sins. She died at the age of 33, the same age as Christ when he was cruxified. Since her death, many miracles have been attributed to her, however the Roman Catholic Church does not recognised her as of yet.

The Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church of America has Glorified the Little Rose on July 17th, 2004, making her a Saint in this jusristiction of the Ukrainian Church. A shrine to her exists in Taylor Michigan.

La Petite Rose is buried in Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket Rhode Island. Entering the main gates of the cemetery and taking the first right to the lane that goes adjacent to Rathbun street, then just past the first left, about two stones in from the left, on the left hand side is her tomb which reads in French, "The Little Rose, Victim of her Jesus, Marie Rose Ferron, Stigmatist, Born May 24, 1903, Died May 11, 1936, at the age of 33."
