He married Kerrie Elizabeth Mehok on February 1, 1980 and they were the parents of three sons, Ryan, Colin and Andrew. Tom was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was employed as an electronics technician by Nuvatec Inc., Downers Grove, Illinois. He was raised a Master Mason May 31, 1983 in Euclid Lodge No. 65, A.F. & A.M., Naperville, IL. He died February 28, 1985 in Maywood, Cook County, Illinois, as a result of an automobile accident. Masonic Memorial services were conducted by Lake Lodge No. 157, Crown Point, Indiana and Tom was interred at Oakland Memory Lanes, Dolton, Cook County, Illinois.
