Notes From Greenstreet:
The Angel of Death called at the home of Mrs. Martin Bily of Franklin and took from her tender care her beloved son, John Bily. He departed this life on October 6.
He was born in Greenstreet July 14, 1880, and when he was three years of age his parents removed to Franklin. He was a filial son and a kind brother.
The pall bearers were six girls dressed in white and six boys. The girls were the Misses Blanche Schultz, Emma Souer, E. Slager, Emma Rous, M. Shebesta, M. Ducker and the boys were Frank Jerafek, John Schultz, Tom Yedlicka, Jos. Schultz, John Yedlicka, Adolph Schultz.
Mr. Bily is survived by his aged mother, two sisters, two brothers, and one step brother Frank of Michigan.
The funeral was held Oct. 9. Rev. Cipin officiated.
