Cora Cartmill, 99, passed away March 14, 2003, in Oklahoma City. She was born September 28, 1903 in Edmond, OK to Charles & Ada Pritts Cartmill and was a long time Bethany resident. Cora washed and ironed clothes for many college students and baked over 5 million cookies. Her flower gardens were remarkable and she served in church nursery work for over 25 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J. R. Webb ; daughter, Elma, & son, Raymond, as children; daughter, Delma Henderson, and sons, Robert Webb & Wayne Webb.

Survivors include her daughter, Joann Terry & Jack, Antlers, OK; sons: Laverne "Bud" Webb & Dixie, Bethany, OK, Earl Webb & Mary Ada, Yukon, OK, Verle Webb , Tahlequah, OK; brothers: Tom Cartmill & Mary Lucille, sisters: Iva Smith & Viva Thompson, all of OKC, a special niece, Leola Faye Shackelford, 13 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Federation for the Blind. Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, March 17, 2003 in Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, with interment in Whistler Cemetery, Edmond, OK (Deer Creek).
